I don't think this post diminishes the importance of 9/11. It reminds that life goes on, I guess. Yeah, 9/11 was one of those singular moments in our recent history. But it's not like that's the only thing that was going on. People were laughing and crying and getting well and getting sick and it's never just one thing.
Not very insightful I'm afraid. But I'm glad you're alive, too.
Appendicitis is scary! My boyfriend had his out this summer and it was really scary for me to sit and wait in the hospital all night. He got it out around 11 or midnight, I can't remember. His didn't burst or anything, thank God, but it was scary nonetheless.
Yeah, it's like... you never know... the prospect of peritonitis is the scariest thing ever. Once it's touched, there's not much you can do besides hope it's not completely bust. Thankfully, like I said, mine wasn't touched, but in retrospect I still get the shivers after what the surgeon told me.
My parents waited around 4 hours in the waiting room when they should have just waited about an hour or so. Yeah, I think it was scariest for them.

Yeah, I know, but sometimes I feel like shit because I'm talking about myself. I'm not that kind of person but this, it feels good to talk about.
