Author's note: Read this in the context of episode 2x13 :) I honestly can't be bothered to rhyme most of the time, but hey, I'm writing!

This is so simple and yet so beautiful. I love the phrase "gilded ruins".

I didn't know you also wrote poetry. I hope we get to read more of it. ;)

Sheesh, this one took like five minutes to write. Right after I saw the finale. I mean, look for the logic there, right? But it just hit me so hard.

I write poetry whenever it hits me, because otherwise I'm much more of a lyrical prose writer. Rhyming pisses me off, hehe. Check my "poetry" tag, there's a couple, but yeah this is my first GG poem :)
