[The camera clicks on, suddenly and without warning, thanks to a lab mouse-- or, well, specifically, an electric lab mouse, because Rex BRILLIANTLY left the communicator too close to its cage, and the mouse's electrical pulses just... whatever, fake science, it turned on the communicator. [His head snaps up and he puts the mask back on, voice still all Chris Latta.] What?! Who are-- you don't know what you're talking about; go away!

[Click. Then a few moments later, the video suddenly turns on again.]

And no, I won't!

I'm Dwight K. Schrute, volunteer sheriff deputy for Lackawanna County and Assistant to the Regional Manager of Dunder Mifflin, Scranton.

AND a purple belt.

You're never a match for the Joes! You always tell them your plan!

....Rex! Your communicator is on!

I do hope you made a fist while saying "COBRAAAA" [He rolls his "r".]

But I didn't turn it-- [gasp! The mouse. Rex glares at something off-screen and puts his ventilator on.]

I haven't. Should I make a fist?

Oh yes. Don't lift it all the way into the air, though. That's a touch hammy. But a fist is invariably required.

I don't imagine I'll be screaming "Cobra" very often. It was a test.

[After catching strange noises coming from computer from across his lab, Dr. Octavius comes over to investigate. And winds up staring blandly at the screen for a few minutes, cybernetic arms twisting around him.]

If you're practicing grandiose speeches, I've found that the important part is to have your counterpart grounded before speaking, in any case.

[Woop, ventilator back on. Rex stares at the arms curiously.] Is this a recurring problem of yours?

Unfortunately. [Rex gets a curt examination from his side of the screen, those mechanical arms python coiling and writhing in the periphery of the picture.]

I hate to intrude but it seems that my computer is picking up signals from wherever it is that you are. Not a common occurrence but I'm not unfamiliar with pan-dimensional interference [And this is the sort of crap he got around the time he summoned Gog]. Where are you, precisely?

[YOUR ARMS... ARE BEAUTIFUL. Rex watches them idly.]

I don't have a precise location to offer, unless you consider "The Barge" precise enough. But I certainly wouldn't.

Where are you?
