A survey of sorts: what do you do all day?

Oh, I'm not trying to get "intel" on your daily habits, if that's what you're concerned about. I'm just curious as to what it is that keeps you all so... distracted these days. I could do with some new distractions, myself.

Yours hasn't done anything about this yet?

No, nobody has. It's been nothing but talk and no action.

God damn it... Everyone used to think I over-reacted - this sort of thing is exactly what I thought'd happen when I resigned from security.

OK, Rex. What's he say? There any reason he didn't act or what?

What happened? [Rex missed the security fiasco, wheee]

Damon apparently has an alibi. Which, of course, conveniently involves another vampire.

[OOC: ASSUMING THIS IS WHAT WENT DOWN, but cannot confirm with Catherine.]

Poker, drink and smoke.

And do you feel your time is spent wisely?

It's the fucking barge, what the hell else is there to do? Not all of us are lab nerds.

"What the hell else is there to do" is what I'm after here. One would think that an environment designed to foster rehabilitation would have more to keep the residents occupied.

And I don't see what being a "lab nerd" has to do with anything.

Harass people, drink coffee, and make friends. That's about all there is to do.

I suppose that's enough like the real world.

Minus the learning, new entertainment, and progression toward anything interesting? Pretty much.

Precisely. I just love the Barge.

Go running in the CES every morning, then work out in the gym, mainly. There isn't much of anything to do around here.

Why's the plan on hold?

It must drive you crazy.

I have a great deal of data to analyze before I can even think to continue.

Yeah. It does, guy.

Alright. Take care of yourself.. Get rest before you start up again. We have plenty of time. You got that? I don't want you falling apart.

It seems the goal here is to drive us to graduation via... boredom.

I've spent the week resting, but... [Slightly awkward pause.] Thank you.

I must confess, Rex, I'm feeling rather understimulated myself. Apart from the odd flood, I can't think of much I can do that's constructive. I have a job in the kitchen for breakfast, then I work in the library and occasionally work in the garden, though that's more out of a desire to feel actual dirt, than anything else.

So why don't you go to the CES, instead?

Only so effective, and I don't often get the chance.
