Number of open cases form 2008: 6. Mods are working to wrap these up.

I have never been plagiarised (that I know of) but I do want to thank you and your fellow mods for your hard work and commitment in running this community.

Yeah, just adding my own thanks for your hard work. I watch this community but rarely find any reason actually to make a comment as for the most part the fandoms involved tend to be ones I'm not familiar with; however that doesn't mean I'm not aware of the work that goes into investigating plagiarism cases. (I did manage to miss the 'hijack' incident you referred to, though!) Your criteria and your approach as outlined above make perfect sense to me and in general I like the way you go about things. You're performing a real service to fandom here by giving people a forum in which to expose plagiarists, and I want to wish you all continued success for the New Year.

I definitely appreciate you and the other 'lurkers' to the community for two reasons - 1) knowing you're there is part of the checks and balances that keeps things honest and 2) while individual comm members may not know 90% of the fandoms, when a case matches members fandom interests, it's been incredibly helpful in gathering needed info.
