Needed to be watched...
An author that goes by the name of "Midnight's Gale" in FF dot net has been getting away with plagiarism for a while now. After finding a fic she likes, she tends to copy and edit it until it satisfies her before posting.
She edits the fics by changing the gender of the main character to female, change the pairing, change some parts here and there, and then you get a 'new' fic. She is quick to delete the fics in question once she is found out but it doesn't deter her from doing it again.
One of 'her fics', "A different Reality", has one chapter that is a word-for-word copy of "Inner Secrets".

Even though she stated that she had asked the permission of the original author, I am doubtful because of her past actions where the authors she claimed to have asked permission from gave negative responses.

Note: In the third story, she is attempting to combine the two stories together. After looking at her progress, it appears that she was unable to do so. But is doesn't mean that she will stop there.
She is really good at editing the original fics to the point that it looks 'unique'. But it can still be easily seen as to where she got her ideas from. This would not have been a problem if only she credited the original authors and fics she 'got' (stole) ideas from. Not crediting is like stating to the world that the ideas and plots were purely 'her own'.
Another Note: She has started posting fics in the "Prince of Tennis" fandom. I have a feeling that she's 'copying' fics there as well. I will try to look into it, as well as her other stories to see if I can find more similarities.
