Sometimes, when one gives a warning to a plagiarist, they heed the warning and rush to take their plagiarized stories down. At other times, a warning results in them scrambling to cover their tracks and falsifying evidence.

Such is the case with Saturn's Heart. Upon examination of available evidence, there ( Read more... )

"In addition. her attempts to falsify evidence and lack of repentance award her with sufficient bonus plagiarist points, sufficient to claim a free upgrade into the list of indefinite plagiarists."

That got a nice, big bark of a laugh from me, I'll be honest. (Btw, you've been a regular machine here lately. I just wanted to say: You're doing a great job.)

Thanks are appreciated.

Must give credit where due however. Quick response rate is due to the hard work of members of TaPiR, this is the fruit of their work as well. Is a group effort.

While this is a clear case, it's worth mentioning that backdating on AO3 is not necessarily a sign of plagiarism in the absence of other evidence. It's common amongst authors who transfer old work there - for example, my stories on there have dates back to 2003, because that's when they were originally written. Having said that, all of them are also archived on other sites which do NOT allow date changes, and can be verified that way.

Ah yes, apologies. Should have clarified on that too prevent unfortunate implications.

Good point. I haven't bothered to backdate my stories on AO3, but I did consider it when I realized they would all look new. However, I decided it is really a posting date and easily understood to be "the date posted on this archive", and they are and have been archived for so many years elsewhere that I decided it's easy to prove when they were actually written and posted for the first time.

Highly unbelievable, as that would mean she posted those stories on AO3 before there was an AO3 and as stated in the original report, even before canon material had revealed some of the details that were in the stories.

LOL - some people are just not smart enough to be crooks.

The best part is on another pseudonym that she posted under (SlytherinsGirlFlower*) she mentions just getting back into watching Sailor Moon and says that she hasn't watched it since 1992 which would be a really neat trick since the anime didn't get released until 1994 ( ... )

I report her every day. A waste of time, mind you, but it makes me feel as if I were doing something.

Sadly, until the admin decide to come back out of hiding on FFN, that's really all we can do.

I have reported blatant kiddie porn and it gets ignored. I am assuming there is no moderation at FFN any more.

I'm getting that feeling as well.

So unfortunately, I've located yet another site where this lovely individual is posting stolen stories. I found a link to it on her deviantart account - http://requiemofthewind.webs.com/the-story-corner

According to that site she writes under the name Yaya and draws under the name Hellobaby. FYI - the artwork she posts is actually stolen from the deviantart artist name Hellobaby and they are NOT the same person. The only reason she had to keep the same name is because it was virtually impossible for her to remove the watermark placed on many of the images by the original artist and therefore couldn't change her name. She did however crop the images to remove the address which would've linked to the original artist's deviantart page.

So unimpressed by this woman.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that the site is her personal site so the only way to report it is to file a report with the company who hosts since she's technically violating their Terms of Service. -.-

And it looks like either she (or the web hosting company) have taken down the site. Don't know whether to be happy or suspicious.

Is possible she is watching this report?
