On May 23, one of my readers informed me that a person going by the name of mjsbabygirl had cut and pasted entire sections of my BtVS Buffy/Spike AH-AU story "Crash and Burn" (published in 2003) into her story, "Man Vs. Thanks! Just got this reply from one of the mods of PositivelyMichael:

We can call up previous versions of posts to reveal what she had originally wrote, but don't want to do that unless you need the corroboration.

The user wants the thread deleted, but we'll keep it up until you give us the okay to take it down. And don't worry about having any part in her running off, we're happy to prune the frauds off the board.

Do you have her email address? It's part of our policy to contact both parties. I'll do some googling and see if I can access some of her older stuff, too.

annoyed on your behalf for the past 2 days. When I read your twitters about this, i was like wtf! There is only ONE nautibitz and anyone trying to claim the greatness that is your work should be shot. Or at least slapped heartily upside the head.
I read some of that michael jackson fic- the parts i could stomach anyway- and it was OUTSTANDINGLY stupid. For her to even try to incorporate parts of C&B into it is, in my opinion, blasphemy.

Wow. I thought the whole "My best friend sent me this and told me to post it!" excuse was bad, but trying to turn it around and claim you stole from her? That's just pathetic. I love how she started to backpedal when she realized she was caught. Sadly, her "fans" seem to be sticking by her.

And WTF? So because she didn't get angry at someone stealing her fics, you shouldn't get angry at her? If anything, I would hope she'd be more sympathetic.

This silly bint hasn't had any of her stories stolen because I would bet everything she writes short of her grocery list is stolen. She needs the Ban Hammer coming down on her lying, thieving head HARD.
