Where: Hangar.

"It'll be fine!" Luke grinned, the eternal optimist when it came to crazy ideas that were kind of working. "We'll just look at the parts, and put it all back together! We'll be finished before anyone even notices!"

His buzz of adrenaline was carrying him nicely- but another thought was coming into his mind. Would they even be able to do this, period?

Well, they'd find out tonight.

"Parts? Put what back together?" Something was definitely not right. When Luke had said he wanted to meet with a friend it had been one thing, but what exactly were they going to do?

She was regretting her decision to make a detour to the hangar already, but someone had to make sure that Luke wasn't going to get into more trouble...

"The space ship!" Polly chirps in answer to Tear's question, very nearly skipping toward one of the Thor's shuttles with books and blueprints tucked under her arm.

She'd been spending as much time as she could spare in the library, studying, since the plan had taken form. She had a basic idea, now, of what she was making, how to take it apart, and put it back together. Really, it was just a question of whether they could accomplish it all in one night.

"We're going to make one!"

Luke followed her close behind, imitating her near-skip in a display of excitement all his own. He was carrying a few of the extra books Polly had picked up, under his arms. This was all they needed, right?

He turned to Tear. "Don't tell Guy, okay? It's a surprise for him!" Then to Polly. "Can we make style changes? Like, color and what it looks like?"

Granted, Luke hadn't had a full lifetime to build up common sense, but sometimes there were things that just screamed WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS. Taking apart a space ship to make a new one - which was what she understood as their plan - fell under this category.

"How are you planning to take the ship apart without anyone noticing? And how can you make a new one if you do take it apart?" she asked, not sure she wanted to know the answer.
