What: The Nataraja school of dance is putting on a performance to showcase their learning, and after is a holiday party!

[[Matt grins as he walks on by, excited to be back anywhere- how he got there? Well Matt's got his ways of getting into trouble. Or back stage.]]

Yeauh it's been hectic the last while for me, but I'd love /for/ him to be if it's all good.

Yep! Just me, makin' sure all the t's are crossed and i's are dotted and not accidentally gauged out by the sword hilts.

[Being roommates co-parents? and all that, Maraich naturally showed up for Ashura's party. Of course, he was here to relax and enjoy a show instead of working for once. He was quite interested in seeing some exotic dances from another world.

He picked out a comfortable seat for himself in the audience and sat comfortably with a drink.]

[The opening number was the beginners. First swords, then dances. It was mostly fluid, but simple patterns with precise hand motions and sweeps of the leg. Again, not overly complicated, but these were the beginners and it had only been about two months if that.]

[Maraich followed the movements easily. He was an expert - although a martial arts expert, not a dancing expert - and it gave him insight to the true abilities of the performers. As fluid and aesthetically pleasing as the dancing was he could still tell they were beginners.
He enjoyed the show for what it was though. There was no reason to expect new dance students to be able to pull amazing stunts, and sometimes even the simple stuff was fun.

He was somewhat curious if he was going to see Ashura perform.]

[Atem probably looks as awkward and out of place as can be. But he's got his back turned while he's casually placing tins of Christmas cookies on some food table.]

[Ashura beamed at his friend, swishing up in robes of soft reds and greens and golds - sort of a nod to the season.]

[He turns around, putting a grin on.] I said I'd make it, didn't I? [He's just dressed regularly, though now he's wondering if he should have dressed up or something.]
