[Maka has been a waitress for Crimson Lion for some time now. To the point that when the regulars come in, she knew exactly what they wanted! Feel free to come on in and have her as your waitress! Or if you rather hang around while she's on break, that's a-okay too! She's usually sitting at the booth, catching up on either some homework or viewing the network eating chips or something.]

[Minato's deciding to make a few rounds, ensuring everything's being run correctly.]

[walking around all over the place with her trays; slooowly getting the hang of things. bother? offer to help? ask about pie?]

[Minato's just going to come up and arrange those dishes and trays a bit in her hand, balancing them properly before disaster strikes.]

[So the new chef is still looking a bit out of her element, but she is definitely working hard! Her sashimi is top-notch, but most everything that requires anything other than cutting is a little lacking... most especially the rice. She is staring at the vinegar, still not used to putting so sour to something that should obviously be considered bread.]

[Thankfully, Minato's on hand to keep track of both his new chefs, and comes over to help.]

What are you trying to make here?

[She nods, looking over her batch of rice scrutinously. She's quite proud that she now knows that is what the rice is called, but that doesn't help her prepare it any better.]

Ah. You'll just need to grab some sugar and salt to go with the vinegar. I also like to use a small bit of sesame seeds, but that's just me.

[He's not going to get it for her, though. Not out of laziness, but the simple things like getting the ingredients are important, as well as the prep. Have to learn where everything is.]

[very pumped up in light of her new chef position, Nepeta is happily scampering around her station in the kitchen, doing everything she can to try and keep up with the rest. her area is pretty much the definition of organized chaos: it looks like there's way too much going on, but she seems to know exactly where everything is as she bounces around. she may not have much experience in the field, but she sure has the enthusiasm to make up for it!]

[Minato's still keeping a close eye on everything, though, even while cooking his own stuff.]

[The mess is a little bit disconcerting, but it looks like she's finding everything alright and getting food out on time, but there could be a few problems if he or his other chef needs to use them. So he's just going to start putting things away as he notices she doesn't need the ingredient anymore for the dish.]

[...luckily, she doesn't seem to notice his subtle rearranging; at least, not quite yet. she's way too into what she's doing right now-in the zone, so to speak!]
