Drizzt was not a witness to any of the destruction caused by the Valkyrie. In fact, he had no clue anything had even happened. The ship was so full of noises and strange lights that when alarms went off, Drizzt paid them no attention ( ... )

The young Valkyrie breathed heavily as she set her Guide to the side. There was no information there. Why did she decide to hold onto it, when she knew it would provide her with no answers? Nothing in this world made sense.

She reclined herself against the bench as Drizzt passed by. Gwen's senses picked up the faint smell of the forest and the earthy ground. Everything about him seemed more real that the synthetic world of glass and alloys. She turned her gaze to him, wondering who he was and whether he too was from her world.

Her daydreaming was broken as he saw him get further away and the thought occurred that she might lose him. "Ah! Wait!"

Drizzt stopped when he heard the voice. He had thought he was alone. The drow made a mental note to start paying more attention. Normally he would have been able to pick up on anybody close by with his keen senses.

His surprise at finding out he wasn't alone was just further proof that his mind was still reeling from the revelations of the past day or so.

Slowly, he turned his head and glanced over his shoulder. Lavender eyes watched the female for a moment before Drizzt turned around to face her. "Yes?" he asked politely, wondering what she had called out to him for since he didn't even know who she was.

Gwendolyn was a bit surprised by the ashen color of his face. She had never seen anything like it before and something about it seemed a little unsettling. She found herself staring far longer than she knew was polite.

Her voice wavered a little at first, but grew in strength. "I'm sorry to bother you... Do youknow where we are? I have not seen a world like it..."

Raidou knew that the chances of his and Nagi's home being gone was extremely high now after the trip to Loki. That didn't stop him from coming this way and looking out to see if they were near home. Nope, still that bizarre world with the strange comics and people dressing up as others aboard the ship...

...?

He paused, looking around the hallway. This was... quite the mess.

"Looks like there was quite the struggle..."

He glanced over at Gouto as he knocked at several robot scraps, his tail swinging back and forth almost lazily. Raidou understood, nodding. This was strange; it felt like some other form of energy had destroyed these robots.

Gwendolyn ran out of that room, the piercing screams of a multitude of men still ringing in her ears. Far from the lands of the Vikings, she never knew that men were capable of that pitch. Which was really the last thing from her mind as she back-tracked through one of the corridors she knew she cleared.

...right into a man that wasn't supposed to be there at the moment.

Her disorientation wasn't long, and soon her psypher was up to this man's face. His uniform was sharper, more refined, than any other she had seen so far. Was he a part of the people that wished to pursue her. She wasn't sure of this one's intentions, but if he was going to stand in her way...

"Let me pass!" Was the only thing she could think to say.

Raidou raised an eyebrow, stumbling back just a step. What in the world? This woman had just come dashing out of the men's washroom. Gouto purred, but then hissed faintly as the spear was pointed at his descendant. Raidou stared at the spear, eyes focused on the blue crystal aimed at him. His eyes widened slightly as he gazed. This... crystal... What was this energy?

Slowly, he raised his eyes to the woman, shaking his head. "Calm down. I have no desire to fight you, miss."

Of course, if she still wished to fight him, it wouldn't take long for him to draw his blade.

Karen rather liked the observatory deck. Having lived in a big city, she was no stranger to the idea of having to go out of her way to find a starry nighttime sky.

A woman who was dripping fire suppression gel, on the other hand, was new to her. Oh, yes, she was familiar with that substance. "Er... hello?"

THE WORST KIND OF FOAM a_fate_accepted August 8 2011, 20:49:47 UTC
For the moment, Gwendolyn was in a daze. She stared blankly into the panorama of the sky. Her thoughts were drifting in all directions: a mess of the moments before and after coming here. Her sense of urgency was still great, but it was energy without direction. Compared to that, the suppression gel was just a minor annoyance.

Her reverie was broken as the young woman approached her. She lazily turned her gaze, rubbing some gel dripping to her eyes. "...yes?"

"...you're wet." Thank you, Karen. Your powers of observation are truly without parallel.

"That is, did something happen to you? That looks like the gel they use to put out fires."

"They put out fires with this?" Gwen asked, her eyebrows raised. She didn't think there was any fires in the room. If nothing else, it did a hell of a job as an agitator suppressant. Not that they needed to know that.

"It worked well as a veil to hide their movements. I am sure those cowards have run away by now." Not that she was one to talk about this, really.
