Who: No Name/Trowa Barton and whoever tags in! What: Exploring When: All day today Where: Park and hangar-say where in the subject please! Warnings: None at the moment
Quatre had, over the last few days and the course of the previous week, begun to put some things together. There were still quite a few things he didn't understand, so he had deemed it best to refrain from contacting Trowa. Ah, but that wasn't his name, was it
( ... )
By going over the refugee list, he was aware there was a Quatre Winner on board. The heir to the Winner family, if it was the same person from his world. Beyond that, Nanashii had no reason to contact the other, so he hadn't. There were a handful of others like that that he'd read and perhaps some of them were pilots of the gundams in the hangar. But only one had contacted him, and had no need or desire for his skills
( ... )
Quatre was totally frozen for a further few seconds, but then he immediately knelt as well, looking nervous. "I'm sorry," he said, but didn't elaborate. It was really a blanket apology for a lot of things. For all the things he always apologized to Trowa for, for doing the thing he didn't want to do within two seconds of seeing Trowa again, and for inconveniencing him yet again.
Once he had the tools in hand, or all the ones nearest him, he found himself staring at them intently. This was really not the way he wanted to react. So, deliberately, he raised his head and smiled. "That was clumsy of me, I apologize."
The apology had him hesitate and flick his eyes up to briefly look at the other boy again, a bit surprised. Why would anyone apologize to him? Midii being the exception to almost everything. But he swiftly went back to tidying the tools up, looking back to his task.
"You don't have to apologize." 'I'm not worth it', went unsaid for once. He stood, tools in hand, then held them out to the shorter boy.
At least one unfamiliar Gundam was in the hangar along with the others. It was... terribly gaudy, but nonetheless recognizable as a Gundam. Why is important you ask?
Because of the girl jumping down from the cockpit.
She'd seen Nanashi in the hangar all of once before this moment, and she was after meeting the pilot of the newest Gundam to arrive. Wo with little to go on, she risks making a fool of herself.
xD Heavyarms didn't come with him, just so you know!invisiblenameJuly 17 2011, 18:20:35 UTC
The unusually gaudy gundam had caught his notice as a matter of course and professional interest. The figure jumping down from the cockpit had him pause, half wondering if he was in the way this time.
Only to be asked a question. Wufei? He only knew one guy with that name, and he didn't recall reading another refugee with that name when he'd read through the list.
Seeing no harm in truthfully answering, he gave a slight nod before asking one of his own. "Why?" After all, if he was supposed to fight a war with Wufei, he wasn't about to betray him knowingly.
NUUUUU! In all my excitement, I rolled a 1!come_out_swingnJuly 17 2011, 18:32:44 UTC
"Oh! Great! Then you're probably the guy! I was telling him a new Gundam had shown up..." in this case, the Sandrock, not knowing who was the pilot to begin with.
"Well, I wouldn't be surprised if I was wrong, but I was hoping you were it's pilot. He said the guy was pretty quiet."
But, unlike the others, she was throwing the term around loosely, like it was the hip new thing! Of course, she was giving him plenty of time to interject... if he was that kind of guy to do so. "So, are you a Gundam pilot?"
Now that was a complicated question to answer. He both was, and wasn't.
"I have not piloted any of the gundams here." Which would tell her he has piloted a gundam, it just wasn't there. And without telling her he knew who the pilot of that particular gundam was, that was his information to give out to a stranger.
