Nanashii was restless. Not even his assigned job kept him as busy as he liked to be, but there wasn't anything he'd been asked to do in the hangar either. So he had to make do and set to more thoroughly exploring the ship. He had no intention of going down to the planet, that would likely have been asking for trouble.
And walking at least gave him exercise as he thought back to his run-ins with Midii and the information he'd read from her Guide. Why had she used him as a password? She kept saying he had meant a lot to her. And he wanted to believe her. It was just hard to mesh the fact she was there, that as far as she was concerned, the whole mess had ended mere months before as opposed to his perspective of there having been years that had passed.
So much for having grown up a bit. She made him feel like that ten year old boy again.
Hands in pockets, he kept walking and thinking, expression as pensive as it ever looked in public.
