It was merely a chance encounter that had landed Sheena in the breakfast side of the food court one night, around 2 AM. She had been walking back to her room two days ago, when she came across an alien woman who was extremely distressed. Apparently, she was an inventory worker, and while she needed off one night for her sister's wedding, her boss hadn't given her the day off. In fact, he threatened to fire her if all the inventory wasn't done by the end of the week. She would never be able to finish it all if she skipped a night, so Sheena (after hearing her story with many tears and clinging) had agreed (out of pity, really) to cover the shift for the woman ( ... )

Once she was within arm's reach of the masked figure -- now somewhat obviously a young man -- she stopped and stood with her hands on her hips, staring at him somewhat accusingly.

"'What the hell'? I'm the one who should be saying that! What exactly are you trying to pull here, huh?!"

She sounded equally annoyed, but she did eye him over for any injuries he might have sustained from his crash and the subsequent explosion. He acted like he was fine, enough to give her attitude, but she didn't know how that was possible.

Well -- whatever! She'd ask him if he was okay after she yelled at him for being an ass who destroyed everything.

Naruto grunted at her once and lifted his hands to check his mask. Okay, it was still in place. It would kind of suck if he lost it and she could see who he was. In any case, his identity was still a secret. Then again, an observant person could just check the network for a loud blond who happened to be able to clone himself...

"I'm just..." Great. He didn't know what to say as an excuse; he obviously couldn't tell her he was here to ransack the restaurants owned by purists.

"I was hungry, but all these places are closed, y'know. What are YOU tryin' to pull here, eh?"

"Me?? I was just -- !"

Oh, crap. She wasn't actually supposed to be here, the woman who actually worked here was supposed to be here. She wasn't supposed to get caught by anyone, or else that woman would probably end up fired... and seeing as this was her permanent job, as sucky as it was, Sheena couldn't let that happen. She had to clean up this entire mess and make it exactly as it was, before this whole incident, too.

...This was gonna be a long night.

"K..Keh! I don't gotta explain what I'm doing here to the guy who almost piledrove me into the wall!"

A pause.

"Are you okay?"

Okay. She had a point; she didn't have to explain anything to him. He could see that she was minding her own business before. It looked like she worked here or something. Even so, was it really her that cast that genjutsu? She didn't seem like the type.

"... I'm fine," he replied quietly, brushing some more dust off his sleeve. As he did so, he released the last of his natural chakra, reverting to normal. With his mask on, she wouldn't be able to see how his golden eyes returned to bright blue.

He sagged a bit, the exhaustion setting in from using Sage Mode.

"What about you? You're okay, right? I didn't mean to... well, I didn't think... eh... y'now..."

"...Uh huh. I got you."

She reached into her back pocket, and continued speaking, "I'm fine. Nothing like that would get me down. Er -- getting hit with debris. That first thing mighta left me planted in the ground for a while."

She pulled out another paper seal, only this one clearly had the seal for "ENERGY" written down it. She held it in front of her, closed her eyes, and the seal tinged green. Slowly, her exhaustion from overusing shadow and extending so much of her energy into a ton of seals went away. It was rejuvenating -- and really, it just felt good. Once finished, the seal disintegrated into nothing, and she slapped her hands together. If she was going to get all of this cleaned up, and possibly use another summon within the next 20 minutes to get the clean up started, she was going to need that extra boost.

After observing him for another moment, she reached back into that back pocket, and pulled out the same seal. Silently, she held it out to him.

Naruto watched as she tugged out a paper seal. It was very similar to paper seals he was used to. So she really could use seals? It was similar to the fuinjutsu of his own world, but it wasn't a familiar seal to Naruto. He'd even been learning secret seals from his mother. The Uzumaki were known for their seals.

His fingers twitched at his side. He debated taking it and using it as well, but she might need it for herself. That's the type of person he was, always looking out for others. Besides, he'd almost flattened her with a Rasengan. His exhaustion would pass in time.

There were benefits to being Kyuubi's jinchuuriki.

"Thanks, but I'll be okay." She couldn't see the smile under his mask, but it was there. She might hear it in his voice, however. He did glance over his shoulder at the mess he'd made and then back at her. "How long do you have to clean this shit up?"

She gave a nod and returned the seal to it's place. She wouldn't force it on him if he didn't want it. But if he changed his mind, or suddenly collapsed for some...reason... it'd be there for use. When he asked about the clean up time, though, she glanced around at the destruction. It wasn't too bad, and it only extended to about half of the cafeteria. Luckily, it seemed as though the clipboard managed to survive the explosion, and was lying face down some yards away ( ... )

Naruto listened to her story and watched that look that you're too lazy to explain. It wasn't her real job, but she was doing it for the sake of someone else. That alone was enough to seal the deal of what was going on in Naruto's head. He'd made the mess, and he didn't want anyone to get in trouble.

And he also didn't want anyone to find out he'd been here.

He cracked his own knuckles and lifted his arms over his head to stretch. "Alright, I think I got this." He'd already recovered enough that he could start using jutsu once more. Uzumaki stamina was legendary, and Naruto had it in ample amounts.

"Shadow Clone Technique," he muttered as he clasped his hands together. Two heads were better than one...

But a hundred heads were better than two. He turned around to face the miniature army. "Listen up. We've got two hours to get this all cleaned up. Get to it, y'know!" There was a collective "SURE THING BOSS" before the group scattered and did as they were told.

"Huh?"

Got this? What was that supposed to mea -- ooooooohhh shit. Suddenly, two hundred figures, out of nowhere. She almost jumped at the sudden party, but kept herself from seeming too startled. Still -- there were so many. Illusions and disguising were things Sheena knew of, yes, and she could even do some of it herself, but... just woah. And they could all run around and work independently, too, it seemed!

"That's..."

She scratched her cheek with her index finger, her mouth twisting a bit, "...kind of amazing. Er, I mean... I've never seen anything like it before."

And suddenly, Shadow's triumph and distress made sense. It hadn't experienced anything like that either. Had there been 200 of him in the dark, too? Geeze...

But she wouldn't stand idle, because that's just now how she was. So she started to grab a table that was turned over on it's side to right it.

Naruto, on the other hand, was perfectly content to supervise while his clones did all the work. He tended to do that a lot, especially when Kushina asked him to clean around the apartment or he needed to run some errands but was too lazy to do it himself.

He puffed out his chest slightly at her awe. Yeah, he thought it was pretty amazing too. The Shadow Clone Technique was one of the coolest jutsu around, and nobody had mastered it like Naruto had. He was capable of a couple of thousand clones even.

For the most part, the clones worked in harmony. At times they would bicker and fight with each other, usually ending in a fistfight that destroyed one or two, but things moved right along. Naruto watched Sheena from time-to-time to make sure she really was okay and not just saying that.

She had a few aches and pains, but nothing a few apple gels and orange gels couldn't help with. Unfortunately, she hadn't actually brought any with her here, not expecting for something like this to happen, so she'd just have to deal with it and get them later. She had some Life Seals with her in addition to the Energy Seals, and even some Spirit Seals, that'd heal up her cuts, but they didn't really hurt, so she was fine with letting them sit ( ... )

Naruto and his clones stared at the newcomer for a bit. The chick, Sheena, could summon too, but it didn't seem to require a blood contract like the summons from his world did. He could summon toads but not without drawing blood from his own body first. The user usually bit their thumb to provide the necessary blood.

As Undine began her work, Naruto decided to release his clones. One by one they began to disappear in a puff of smoke before disappearing in larger groups and finally all at once. He hopped back away from the food court wash, landing a short distance from Sheena.

Turning his head, he glanced at her from under his mask.

"Summoning jutsu or somethin'? It's different from what I'm used to. What sorta creature is that?" he asked, lifting his hand and pointing right to Undine. He'd never seen anything like her. Summons were usually animals, but she looked more like a person.

The pools of water washed away the dirt and grime quickly, covering a lot of area in a short amount of time. Sheena glanced over at Naruto (the masked boy), listening to him, while still managing to keep her concentration on the summon.

"She's a Summon Spirit. She's just...Undine. My summons are based on elements. Fire, water, wind, light, lightening, earth, ice, and darkness."

There were also a few others, but they weren't part of the original set.

"I...also used to have a fox summon, but I don't, anymore. But he's an animal -- so I guess he's probably more what you're used to."

It was moments like this that she missed Corrine, even though he was safe as the Summon Spirit of Heart now -- it's a long story. He was also a man made summon spirit, so he was different in a lot of ways.

She glanced back at Undine, who was watching her, but once she noticed Sheena's attention was back on her, she turned away.

"I dunno what a 'jutsu' is, though."

Based on the elements? Naruto listened and slowly began to understand a little of it. It wasn't too difficult, not like some of the other things he'd been taught. Her summons were different from the types of summons he was used to. Instead of animals, hers were based on elements ( ... )
