[open] IT'S A NINJA THING, YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND
Who: Naruto A MASKED NINJA (sageraging) and anyone who sees him
What: Using Naruto logic, our intrepid shinobi has decided to be a ninja for once and is breaking into purist owned businesses in an attempt to make those business owners paranoid so they will hire Naruto and Kakashi's new security company and then the two ninjas can gather info from the inside. I KNOW. IT'S AMAZING. THEY'RE ACTUALLY BEING NINJAS.
When: Around 2-3AM every night for a long time
Where: Business district, wherever, even the food court
Warnings: Language?
He had to keep it a secret.
None of his friends would approve of his methods. It's dangerous of course. While ninja were pretty much the top of the food chain back on their home world (and Naruto was the cream of the crop as of late), there were dangers in space that even the best trained ninja were unprepared for. This included, but was no limited to, the other refugees themselves.
Despite Kakashi's warnings to take it easy until he returned from his adventure with the rest of Team Seven in deeper parts of space, Naruto wouldn't back down from his promise ("I'll get some business for us, Kakashi-sensei! Just you wait, y'know!"). While being branded as dense and knuckleheaded by his peers, Naruto was quite clever at times. Who'd have thought the loudmouth shinobi who wore orange could actually pass for what the general populace (in space, mind you) considered a true "ninja".
Kakashi even showed Naruto a few ANBU stealth tricks, no doubt without the knowledge of what Naruto would do with those tricks. It's fine, Naruto told himself. Kakashi-sensei won't be back for a few weeks. He'll have things wrapped up before then.
After all, this was important. There was a faction out there, a faction dead-set on getting rid of refugees. Naruto wouldn't allow that. For one, most of these refugees were now Naruto's friends. For two, this was just another part of the cycle of conflict and hatred that Naruto was fighting to destroy. He may not be home to destroy that cycle...
... but he would shatter it here in outer space for the whole universe's benefit. That was his goal.
Of course, to the wandering passerby (but who would be out at two in the morning?), Naruto would appear to be just another thief breaking in for his own benefit. He never took anything though, but he's pretty sure he couldn't explain his good intentions to anyone that interfered, especially the police. After all, every criminal professes their innocence, right? That's why he had to stay on his toes.
And so, his plan was set into motion...
