He deserved to know. Also...in Noin's mind, if Heero had truly cared at all, he would've called Zechs, not her. Noin didn't control him. It was almost as if he was admitting he wasn't going to bother admitting he had any force in whatever kind of relationship he had with Relena.
Her brow knits a little and she chuckles absently, drawn out of her thoughts.]
Yes. It's...possible it could've ended worse, however...
[A soft sigh, lips quirked lightly.]

I...suppose I never considered it before - I never did with you. War...didn't leave much open for that sort of thing.
Maybe I just...wanted to be naive about it here. Easier in that way.
[Sometimes it was hard to equate those sorts of things when you were for so long used to thinking of them in another way. A reason her relationship with Zechs as it stood right now wasn't...the sunshine and flowers that great romantic poets blabbered on about for paragraphs on end.
She puts down her glass and uses both hands to fuss up her own hair, for once letting both sides slide down and reveal once more that she, in fact, had a rather neat A-line haircut (though it could probably use a trim) before the hand was replaced on his chest.]

I wouldn't have minded a great deal if I was told before hand. She did seem rushed before opening the door... [He sits up and takes her glass, filling it up and knocking it back. It stung. Good. Maybe not harsh enough. Getting too used to it. Probably for the best.]
It'll be a while before I contact them. [Because contacting her meant contacting him. Relena can deal without him for a while. She did before.
Passes her glass back.]
