Ikkaku had a pretty big box on his shoulder-- wasn't that heavy or anything, but he had picked up some of the heavier things and stacked them neatly in there. He could carry a hell of a lot more weight, especially considering he still had access to reiatsu, but the problem was more... having enough arms.

He hovered for a second by the door to the hospital room, checking to see if he had missed anything-- there was probably some stuff that he had no idea didn't belong in there, but if he missed it, then Yoruichi-san would probably pick it up. Ikkaku wasn't exactly opposed to making more than one trip, but the idea of walking all over the ship with so much stuff and then doing it more than strictly necessary didn't really appeal to him, either ( ... )

Yoruichi scanned the room one last time, making sure they'd gotten everything. Sui-Feng had been rather...enthusiastic in bringing supplies, and there was plenty for the three of them to carry.

Kisuke, at least, was settled on a hover-stretcher, his face pale as he stirred in a restless, uneasy sleep. The doctors had assured her that while his illness would last at least another week, it wasn't life threatening. She'd resigned herself to playing nurse near-constantly, as he had to be given medication every four hours.

And fed, and washed, and helped to the bathroom...ugh. He was going to owe her after this.

The stretcher rental, the hospital stay and the medicine were going to take a bite out of their savings, but she didn't begrudge the cost; they'd manage.

Kisuke frowned and stirred as Ikkaku spoke, and she absently placed a hand on his chest to calm him. "Yeah," she replied. "And I think that's everything, so we can get out of here."

Suì-Fēng glanced at Urahara Kisuke, he really wasn't doing all that well. That would have given her the chance to spend some precious time with her Yoruichi-sama while he was out of commission, if only she hadn't been worried about him all the time.

She took the bags Madarame hadn't stolen for himself, and whatever was left. Wasn't going to argue with him, at least not so soon. Even thought the way he remembered so easily where Yoruichi-sama lived made her eyebrow start to twitch.

A brief nod to Yoruichi, and she was ready to go, quickly slipping between her and Madarame, determined to stay there for the entire time it'd take to bring Urahara Kisuke home. She already had to witness enough getting friendly between the two of them, there wasn't going to be any more if she could help it. Granted, Yoruichi-sama could be stubborn at times, but she could be more stubborn-- or at least try to. Her mentor had to be 'alone' on that ship way too long, now Suì-Fēng was determined to make up for all the time they'd lost.

He hadn't noticed how short Yoruichi was before then, but seeing both her and Sui-Feng standing next to each other drove it home. She'd always seemed a lot taller. Not that he was here to check either of them out. And Ikkaku wouldn't... barge into Urahara's territory. At least not unless he could get away with it consequence-free, though the likelihood of that was just about nonexistent. But hey. Joking around was just as fun ( ... )

The hover-stretcher was pretty easy to handle, needing only the one hand to direct it through the door and out to the hallway. If the hallways got tight or things got crowded, she'd want the security of using both hands, but this was fine for now. Sui-Feng's lips were pressed into a line, and Yoruichi didn't miss the way she placed herself between Yoruichi and Madarame. It wouldn't stop any "inappropriate" conversation, but Sui did like to cling to at least the appearance of propriety.

Yoruichi looked up at Madarame's question, her lips quirking into a faint smile. "The doctors say he'll be fine. Thoroughly unhappy for a while, but if we're lucky, he should be back up and around in a week."

Despite her words, she couldn't help but worry. Kisuke never got sick, and to have some alien creature's bite do this much damage just drove home how vulnerable they could be this far from home. But at least they didn't have to worry about anyone trying to kill them.

...this month, anyway.
