As long as everything turned out okay, he had no room to complain. "A job, maybe? Think I've been hearin' about a harpy problem."
Hearing from Yumichika about it day and night, anyway. He would've offered to help, but he had a handle on it, and it was more fun to watch him storm into the room and then dive for the bathroom. And then Ikkaku eyed the back of Sui-Feng's head and added, "Know how they're a pain in the ass, gettin' into everything." And butting in on perfectly civil conversations on the network about what's proper and how annoying he is ( ... )

With most of her attention on Kisuke, she missed the interplay between Ikkaku and Sui-Feng. Not that she would have said anything; as fond as she was of her former student, Sui was needlessly hostile most of the time, and Yoruichi couldn't exactly blame people for taking issue with that.
Once they were outside, she took a moment to get her bearings, then turned left towards the residential area. She'd play this by ear; if they could walk the whole way, fine, but the Thor was enormous and they were carrying an invalid. Just in case, she'd noted the locations of reputable transportation along the way, if needed.
"But Kisuke was a surrogate mother for harpies this month." She rolled her eyes. "I'm surprised it took as long as it did for something to go

Suì-Fēng was tempted to pretend she hadn't heard him at all, but he had given her just the right hook. "Getting into everything. How annoying." She looked forward again, before adding: "Watch your language."
Just when she'd have some time to be alone with Yoruichi-sama, now that finally Urahara was knocked out, he'd gave to go and ruin it. Sometimes she really could not understand the choices her mentor made. What had she invited him for? He wasn't needed. He was out of place. They had nothing to do with him.
"So many things don't make any sense here." Said more as if she was talking to herself rather than to either if them. When they got out, she immediately focused on taking in their surroundings, trying to memorize buildings, streets and anything that might help her not getting lost when she'll be walking alone.

Needed something to do. The bags and boxes weren't that heavy and it was easier to make room than hang around back there and not saw anything. He did look over his shoulder to grin at Yoruichi, though. "Surrogate mother? That's kinda cute."
Not that he'd ever thought about applying that word to Urahara. Ikkaku idly shouldered an alien out of the way of the stretcher, and when he reached the end of the next hall, he turned around to wait for the rest of the group to catch up. He could theoretically have made short work of all the stuff with shunpo, but then again he'd probably just end up crashing into walls. Control wasn't exactly his specialty.
