Gamzee leaned back when he heard his friend's voice, grinning hazily as he looked around for him. Theeeere the motherfucker was! Sweet.

He waved one hand, expression hazy, and called back, "Hey there, my motherfucker! It's fucking great to all be seeing you." And it was! He hadn't spent enough motherfucking time with his bros while he was all up in this place. (How long had he been here again? It was kind of fucking fuzzy. A couple days now, he guessed!)

Equius stopped when he was next to the highblood, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck with the heel of his hand. He crouched to sit next to Gamzee, warily watching the dolphins. He still did not trust them and was prepared to shoot at them if they attempted to attack his friend.

"Yes, the entirety of this experience has been...disorienting and disconcerting at best. I trust you have kept busy with your--er--whatever it is you do to keep busy." He wasn't sure he wanted to know. The sopor slime pies were bad enough.

"...Or have you simply been with the dolphins all this time?"

"Uhhhh... I think I was all talking to this motherfucking purple human dude for a while."

Yeah, he'd pretty much been watching dolphins for a week or so. The magic of sopor slime, bro.

"I all tried to get someone to let me help out and shit, but people spent most of the memo yelling about things and I wasn't all that sure about what the motherfuck was goin' on," he continued, by way of explanation. "So I guess I've been out here for a while. Hahahahah." He looked out at them some more, at the soft waves and the artificial shore they lapped against. So fucking beautiful, even if it was all kinda fake, too.

"What's all been motherfucking happening with you, bro?" he asked, after a few dazed moments.

"Ah. I am familiar with that purple human." Even if his blood wasn't purple--

"I? Er... I have spent the majority of my time aboard the Thor searching for disappeared individuals." Without any luck. People kept talking about wormholes, but the library's archives honestly didn't offer a very in depth explanation on this phenomenon. "We must be on the lookout; it appears that vanishing happens frequently in this environment." He only worried that he'd turn around and Aradia would suddenly be gone.

"With what do you presently require assistance? I should be happy to provide."

Someone else arrived at the dolphin pool. A human, apparently. With robotic sensors for ears and the faint smell of gasoline around her, because she was not actually a human but instead a very good robotic replication.

Tama was working as a sushi chef for the month, but (due to her unpleasant cooking method) was frequently nominated to go run deliveries instead. Including, as it happened, one to the dolphin pool.

Which was puzzling, considering no one lived here except the dolphins. Dolphins didn't know how to order sushi, did they?

She looked around, and then approached the two gray-skinned boys. "Please excuse me, but I am looking for someone named Squeaky. Are either of you familiar with someone who responds to this name?"

"He-e-e-ey!" a voice called from the water. One of the dolphins was trying to get her attention, but was going completely unnoticed. "Is that the sushi? That's mine!"

One of the gray-skinned boys, who was standing this time and staring out to "sea," turned around when addressed with a slight, puzzled tilt of his head.

"Squeaky? ...Hrm. I cannot say this designation rings any bells. Honestly, who would willingly answer to the name Squeaky? Are you quite certain you haven't been 'pranked'?"

All right, just Equius and Tama, then? doragonmeido March 21 2011, 05:08:29 UTC
"No, I am not certain," Tama replied calmly, as if she had no reason to lie. "The names of those aboard this ship do not follow any common syntax, due to the diversity in their points of origin."

"Hey! Lady!" the dolphin squeaked again, still unable to be heard. "Are you gonna throw that sushi in here, or what?"

"However, there is a significant probably that I have been pranked, particularly if you believe it is so." She looked down at the bag in her hands, containing a large take-out order of sushi. "I do not have any data on what should be done if I have been pranked. Do you know of a use for sushi?"

The dolphin gave an exasperated sigh. "Maybe I'll just order anchovy pizza instead."
