[He wasn't avoiding the entire population, just the people he knows-four measly people out of hundreds of thousands. It was easy to make oneself scarce on a ship of this size without even trying, just like it was painfully easy to lose one's room key in a ball pit.

Flopping around in a sea of colorful geometry was for snot-nosed five year olds. He was a grown man, dammit.

At least nobody would think to look for him in here.]

[ Well, when he's covered just about every inch of the ship, that only leaves the Rec Room. He almost walks right by the ball pit, armful of homemade chocolate wrapped in cute wax paper in tow, but he pauses at the edge pit and silently stares.

In the back of his mind, he's coming up with a comeback for the remark Eiri is sure to make. ]

[He doesn't notice Tohma right away, tossing plastic spheres left and right with careless abandon.

But then he notices. And stops.]
