Without a sound, Chihaya crawled into a chair, sitting on one of his feet and letting the other rest on the floor. As Crowley moved about the small area, Chihaya found himself wanting to say something, anything, to break the awkward, solemn silence that settled on the room. In the end, all Chihaya could do was watch as this normally charismatic man-shaped creature submersed himself in the belongings of a dearly departed friend and comrade. He wanted to tell Crowley that it was okay to talk, to say how he felt, to feel in general, that surely even demons had the right to mourn someone they cared about. Another part of Chihaya said to leave it be-- Crowley was far older, far more mature, and far wiser than the little angel. He knew how to deal with his own problems. After all, he'd dealt with Chihaya's many times in the past-- and with far more aptitude than Chihaya could ever manage, at that ( ... )

"I..." The question caught him somewhat off-guard, though considering the company, it really shouldn't have. Even so, Crowley went very still, staring at the mugs in front of him without really seeing them. It would be easy to lie and say 'no'. He wasn't supposed to care about people, and he definitely wasn't supposed to care about angels, but...he did. It was why he was still here, on this stupid and wonderful space station which was packed full of equally stupid and wonderful people, and not somewhere else. Touring the universe, maybe. It wasn't like he needed a ship or money. He could just go. Hell, he could go right now.

But he didn't. And he wouldn't. Even with Aziraphale gone, he would continue to stay here. If he'd been taken to a plane of existence where the Earth still existed, then Crowley couldn't follow, as he had no idea where such a plane might be. If he'd been - as Crowley suspected - called back to Heaven, then Crowley definitely couldn't follow.

"...Yeah. I do."

"I don't know him as well as I'd like to... but, I think he cares about you, too, Crowley." Chihaya's attentions turned to the cuff of his relatively new shirt, and he tugged gently at stray lint.

"...That's why I believe that he'll come back from wherever he's gone. It'll be tough, but as long as you're here, he'll find his way." Whether or not that was a veiled plead for Crowley not to find a reason to disappear as well was up in the air, even for Chihaya, but the possibility still remained.

"He'd better," Crowley muttered, mostly to himself. Waiting for the water to boil was taking too long, so he encouraged the process along with a thought. Hey, he'd done it mostly the proper way. And he was still pouring the water manually, anyway. That ought to count for something.

The marshmallows in Chihaya's chocolate were an afterthought, appearing just as he turned to face him, a mug in each hand. Chihaya seemed like the marshmallow type.

He set the appropriate mug in front of the little angel and sat down in the chair opposite him, slouching in his seat with a quiet sigh.

Chihaya gave a soft squeak in delight at seeing the marshmallows indicating that he was, indeed, the type. So much so that he took a quick swig in an attempt to grab as much sugar as humanly (...angelically?) possible. The initial squeak turned into a yelp as he scorched his sensitive tongue, the mug clattering against the tabletop (although thankfully spilling nothing inside!).

"Aaahhhhggghhh…! Gaaaaaah…!" he fanned at his tongue, attempted to make a coherent sentence… and promptly gave up.
