Who: Fai, Cruz and Echo
What: Echo has something she'd like to say to Cruz... But, she can't say it alone. So, Fai is there for moral support~

It was a pretty girly run considering the fact that he was in a skirt, but Cruz had arrived with a wave.

"Hey! Fai-san! I'm here!"

In Cruz's head, this was going to be a very long talk between two manly (or more like flamboyant) men about a girl. And the girl in question wasn't going to be around for discussion. Therefore, there was no need to have prepared his heart for what was going to come soon. ... Right?

As soon as Cruz called out to him, Fai placed a hand upon Echo's head lightly.

"Stay here for a moment."

He steps around the tree smiling at Cruz. He waves a little.

"There you are. That didn't take you long at all~!"

He grins a little and steps over to Cruz, giving him a hug once close enough.

"It feels like it's been a while."

Hearing that voice let Echo know for sure this was the point of no return. It didn't take Fai's instruction to keep her hidden in that spot. Echo folded her hands over her chest as if it would do much to help her nerves.

A few deep breaths and Echo turned her gaze around the tree. At least she was safely hidden...for now anyway.

Cruz smiled and had returned Fai's hug. Now that he thought about it, he was starting to realize how much significance the Gardens was holding here. This was where he first met Fai and Amaterasu and then there was the little funeral they had for Fai a while back, though that one wasn't a happy memory compared to the first time he came here.

So... What was going to happen next? "Uh... Has it really? Maybe I've gotten a little taller then!"

He places a hand on Cruz's head, ruffling his hair slightly. It reminded him of the first time he introduced the boy to Amaterasu...and they decided to adopt him. An odd notion, yet... It felt comfortable knowing that Cruz was, in a way, his son. He was also proud.

"It sure seems that way~! You're going to be taller than me soon!"

He chuckles softly and loosens his hug a little, so that he can look Cruz in the eye.

"Cruz... There's someone with me who would like to tell you something. Will you hear her out?"
