What has Echo gotten herself into?

Even with Fai here...no, somehow the whole situation seemed just a little worse with Fai's involvement. Ever since the incident, it seemed he was much more inclined to push Echo.

B-but in this direction? Echo may have wrinkled the dress (in blue obviously) Fai picked out just a little from how hard she was grabbing at the skirt. Nervous wouldn't even begin to describe the cascade of things Echo was feeling at the moment. Anticipation alone would choke her in an instant. So many bad things could come of this -will come of this. How was she supposed to say what her feelings are if they're so jumbled beyond recognition?

"Mister Fai...i-is it necessary for Echo to wear this?"

He hums softly in response, simply leaving it at that for a moment or two. Why go into detail? They had already spoken quite thoroughly about this earlier. This was what they had agreed on. Anything else would have more than likely failed due to just how shy she was.

Ah~! She was so cute~! Cruz was lucky to have such an adorable little girl fond of him. But, he must remain a spectator, only there to give Echo a helpful nudge every so often.

"Oh? Don't you like it? I think it really suits you, Echo."

He chuckles softly.

"Just you watch. I'm sure Cruz will say the same~"

A very small groan escaped the girl as she smoothed out the skirt. It was always so...alien to be in something other than her uniform. Plus the dress had short sleeves, meaning she couldn't hide her bandaged hand from where Ran bit Zwei. If this outfit was meant to inspire confidence, then it was having a terrible time with it.

"P-perhaps this wasn't such a good idea..."

"Hush. This is the best plan we came up with."

And he decides to peek around the trunk, looking down at her with a gentle, yet playful smile.

"Unless of course...you would like me to tell him alone."

"Mister Fai is very insistent on this plan, isn't he?"

Echo's body slightly trembled out of nerves. No mattered what plan she chose, the outcome would still either be disastrous or the opposite. Echo would still be the one shouldered with the consequences.
