Soifon almost started to regret the decision to meet with the (ex) Captains now; the weariness was becoming harder to keep at bay. The handful of hours she had between arriving and agreeing to this had provided a sizable amount of rest, but without sleep, it was only temporary.

Still, it would be worth it.

The doors were certainly an oddity she would have to get used to. A twinge of irritation ran through the wounded woman at the door's comment to Kisuke, but she didn't dwell on it.

Soifon watched the cat (Shaolin, she recalled,) dart to the wall, fixing a slightly puzzled expression on the alien creature as it began to climb. Urahara was speaking to her, yet she paid it little mind as she began to take in the condo's environment.

Hmm, Ukitake mentioned that he resided here, too. Idly, she wondered if he was here yet.

Kisuke soon realised that Soifon was ignoring him and let the puppy down to bumble around the room on his short legs. He ran off to yip excitedly at Shaolin, who was smugly stuck on the side of the wall out of his reach and peering imperiously down at him. There was no reply from any of the other inhabitants, so Kisuke sighed and turned back to Soifon as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Well, it looks as though it's just you and me for the present. Can I get you anything at all while we wait? Tea, or a snack perhaps?"

He had a pretty good idea what the answer would be.

He was probably right. Soifon shook her head, mumbling, "I'm fine." The two animals peaked her curiosity- the alien cat especially. She glanced around the room again, but decided against sitting down. It was just a precaution, but the last thing she needed was for her exhaustion to get the better of her.

Sudden pain coursed through her hand, and Soifon couldn't help flinching slightly. It was a minor pain; still, the sudden occurrence caught her off guard. However, it had originated from her left hand...

She wondered when the phantom pains would start.

Yoruichi had foregone the rest of her errands for getting things for Soifon; just basic clothes, as well as additional bandages for her wounds. Even with her speed, however, it took a while for her to get back to her room

Kisuke did as he was told, obediently sweeping Bowie up and carrying the puppy easily with one hand as he went to get the groceries.

"Right away Yoruichi-san," he told her, shooting her a quick glance of concern before he turned his attention back to the squirming puppy in his hand who was trying to stuff his nose into one of the bags. "This is not puppy food, young man~"

He quickly deposited both food and puppy in the kitchen before returning with a tall glass of water and a bowl full of warm water from the kettle in case any of the wounds needed bathing. He had a pretty good idea that Yoruichi would want to be left alone with the younger woman, and dropped a hand on her shoulder to squeeze it imperceptibly.

"If you don't need me for anything else, I'll get dinner started. It's good to have you here, Soifon-san."

He trotted back to the kitchen, geta clacking as he went, and immediately had to make a dive for the puppy as he did so.

"Iyaa, Bowie! We menfolk have to know our place and stay in the kitchen my friend~!"
