Kisuke could feel the hum of Yoruichi's reiatsu as he lead Soifon up to the room she shared with Ukitake. He could tell that she wasn't far off and would probably arrive not too long after they did. He couldn't help but smile a little at the thought of how relieved she would be to see her protégé alive. There were a myriad of questions going through his mind that he wanted to ask the injured woman about Aizen's attack, and he was sure that he wasn't alone in that desire, but there was a time and place for everything and now was not it.
He led them from the elevator, along the cavernous corridor towards the Condo and greeted the door cheerfully.
"Good evening, Door-san! Could y-"
"Oh, it's you again," the door replied wearily. "I don't know why you don't just move in, you're here all the time as it is."
It slid open and Shaolin leapt from his shoulder to immediately walk up the wall. Bowie the puppy squirmed impatiently, wanting to chase after the alien cat and play with her. Kisuke held onto him a little more firmly.
"She shouldn't be too far away," he told Soifon over his shoulder, "please make yourself comfortable. Hello~! Is anyone home?"
