"I see you've met the puppy."

He growled to himself. "Aragaki......."
Looking up again, he sighed. "So he suckered you into this, huh?" Heero stooped down to scoop up the puppy, staring it in the face.
Its adorable, white widdle puppy face. I will not smile I will not smile I will not scratch him behind his cute puppy ears oh god it's smiling at me--
"...You're not bringing it with you, are you?" He looked past the puppy at Relena with a dreading pout. As if this wouldn't be difficult enough already, now his attention would be divided between keeping Odin in line and keeping a new puppy in line.

She walked over and picked up the wriggling puppy, a little smile on her lips before focusing back on Heero. "Yes, I'm bring him. He's still a puppy and needs someone watching him for a while."

"Fine. Let's go."
And with that curt reply, he shoved his hands in his jean pockets, leading her to his room. It didn't take long of course, but once they got to the door of his bedroom he stopped short of grabbing the door handle, and turned to her, an almost pleading look in his eyes.
"...Please, just let me do the talking, at first."
Opened the door. And to the man inside, nodded his head towards her.
"Odin, Relena Peacecraft. Relena, Odin Lowe."
A pause.
"He raised me."
And now.. he allowed the doom to settle in.

The irony of that thought brought another smile to Odin's lips. "Heh. Heero Yuy..."
Heero had asked Odin to wait in his room, and wait he did. He didn't touch much in the room, but he felt a curiosity, to understand how the boy lived. Spartan decoration, though there was a very detailed star chart of the Earth Sphere on one wall. A couple of books on the desk, specifically both Sun Tzu and Machiavelli's Art of War. Dog-eared, at that. The trunk under the bed suggested plenty of ordnance, as did the drawers of the desk. After all, Odin did teach the boy survival in a time of conflict ( ... )
