Good riddance, I say. I think the constant cussing and threats were beginning to weigh on the guards there, and I don't blame them.

And I hope wherever Apostle is, they can deal with him.

I never knew him. But then again, most people here come and go without me ever really knowing them.

If you like. I'd be lying if I said that being called Vimes again seems a bit strange after such a long time. As far as I'm concerned, both names are mine. [He draws a small circle here in thought, knowing that Krile's been through the same thing, but also knowing that she's not someone to talk to about the trouble with identities.]

I'm not sure why I came up with it in the first place, really, but it served me well.

Nope. There really wasn't anything in it that I could take a name from. My greeter - Iris, I think his name was - told me to pick a name and that was the only thing that felt right.

It was a question answered farther down the page. I should have taken more time to respond.

With memories, we lock him right back up again. Without memories... we can't do that. It'd be the same as persecuting people for the deeds they did before they arrived, and doing that would make quite a big mess. Rest assured that if that's the case, we'll be keeping a very close eye on him. Frankly, if it was completely up to me, I'd have him locked up in the tanty, memories or not, no questions asked.

Oh, right. Don't worry, everyone does it.
