Thank you. I thought of you when I was writing about Olympias. I did remember an earlier comment of yours. I figured since I've gone this far in changing all the characters, why not her too. LOL. I think she needs a friend.

A really wonderful update. I like the fact that Queen Olympias befriended Heph and wants to protect him, and that Cleitus is there to support him. It was great to see how Heph embraced his mother-in-law and her snakes. It was awesome to see her reaction him..he made her laugh ( ... )

Alexander will need his own awakening, and realize what he has. I would like to leave the story with the thought that Hephaestion is on his way to being the man he was meant to be.
I think Olympias will have a larger part in the next chapter. Her and Hephaestion might be good for each other.
Hugs,
Wendy

Loved the meeting between Hephaestion and Olympias and how he generated motherly, protective feelings in her. I think he'll have a powerful protector in her and there's much she could teach him, especially how to handle Alexander ( ... )

I wondered about the background of Cleitus and Alexander myself. As close to Phillip as Cleitus seemed to be, it would be remarkable that Alexander and Cleitus wouldn't have some kind of bond of their own.
Both Cleitus and Olympias will be in the next chapter.
Thanks for reading and commenting.
BTW, I hope you have a nice trip to the Baltic Sea. Have fun!!!

Love,

Thank you very much! I'm very excited about this. I haven't been on vacation for years and I so love being at the sea. I'm busy packing at the moment. My parents will take me to my apartment on Thursday and I'll leave on Saturday. *sighshappily*

Back to your story...I forgot to mention how much I love Hephaestion being mentioned in combination to archery and horse riding. I so admire people who are skilled in archery. I hope Phae gets to show his skills.

And Cleitus...I so believe that he shared a deep bond with Alexander or else Alexander wouldn't have been so devastated at having lost control and killing him in his rage. And Hephaestion...there is also that deep bond there, even if he punched him. He would have made a fine elder brother for our blue-eyed general (...although I wouldn't mind the occasional Cleitus/Hephaestion :p) Would also make a fine reason why Alexander didn't have a jealous fit with Cleitus falling into Phae's arms at that feast. ;-)

Wow! I love jealous and passionate Alexander. I love Olympias! Very much looking forward to the next chapters. Like everyone else, I would like to get to know this Bolon. The more evil he is, the better. Thank you for the update.

Ah, Bolon. He won't want to give up being the lover of the king.
I hope to have the next chapter out Tues. eve or Wed. morning.

Thanks for reading

If Alexander was close enough I would hit his behind with a wooden spoon till he stopped being such a bully. Poor Heph! Alex will have to be taught that Heph is a person in his own right and can't just be dictated to even if Alex is the king.
More please

I laughed out loud when I read your comment. A wooden spoon. He-he. I would love to see that.
More coming soon.
