I really angry with Alexander. I hope he is in Hephaistion's shoes and understand what he had go through. Heph leaves his town and family to follow his romantic love with Alexander. And when he enter the new town which suppose to be his new home, he find many who spoke to him as if he is a whore or a joke of the town and also to ackknowledge that Alexander have another boy stay in their room. That is the meanest thing and Alexander should think about this and take Bolon away before they arived. I feel like Alexander take advantage of Hephaistion's innocense in this story and he should be punish some how!!!***evil grin****

Well, Alexander is used to having everything he wants. I still like zoolady's idea of spanking him with a wooden spoon. Shoot, that's in my mind now.

I can't see Alexander submitting to that and while Id love to see Hephaistion on the receiving end he is being too well behaved (well, ALMOST). But yeah Alexander deserves a good hard one.

Although I dont find Hephaistion believable I am enjoying your characterization of him especially being sharp as a tac. You do a good job of to keeping him suspended between childhood and adulthood. Is that what we call adolescense? ;-) I enjoy the fic and buy the idea that he is truly from Greece and brings with him a different perspective on people war etc.

Love the way you arranged the meeting with Olympias. The byplay between her and Haphaestion was wonderful. Love the hit Hephaestian gives Alexander at the end. The kitten has claws.

BTW, I read it again and WOW... 100% agree with charisstoma , love Heph's claw!!! I bet that Alexander must be so angry to hear that last sentence!!! is it mean that Heph will make love with other with open eyes???? HO HO HO... I bet Alexander will not let Hephaistion out of his sight, how could he? since Alexander make people think that Hephaistion is available for others so now he will have to succumb with those fact unless he make amend of it. I wondered what Alexander will do to show the world that how much Hephiastion means to him.

Alexander is not behaving very well, here, but I appreciate his frankness. Maybe Hephaistion has a different opinion ... This chapter was tender, and hot, like always. I love (as usual) the character of Cleitus, his affection for Philip is very sweet. Hugs, and kisses. Michela.

I didn't like that I didn't have Alexander push Bolon away, but other then that I liked his frankness also. It never bothered me to much when Alexander would take other lovers. (In fan fiction) As long as there wasn't an intimacy that would interfere with their love. I do however, like a possessive Alexander where Hephaestion is concerned.

Cleitus will be watching out for Hephaestion in the next chapter. (If I could only ignore everything for a few hours and get to writing it.)
