As soon as I fall in love with a book or show I start unconsciously compiling a playlist for it.  I'm not sure why, but even after nearly six years with JS&MN this is still the hardest time I've ever had putting together an FST.  The process was probably made more difficult by my avoidance of period music; I assume most of us could find some nice ( Read more... )

To get the ball rolling, I have a song:

So, does anybody else have music that reminds them irresistibly of JS&MN?

I think James McAvoy would make a perfect Strange.

All very unofficial, I hasten to add. In my own obsession with the novel, I compiled a couple of documents pertaining to it. One is a list of all the characters, books of and about magic, and a good number of other things mentioned in the story. Is there any news about JS&MN movie?

Just read The Duke of Wellington Misplaces His Horse, and was wondering if anyone had any idea just how tied Clarke's mythic England is to Gaiman and Vess' Stardust universe.  With the inclusion of Wall, it's pretty obvious that she's looking for some connection, I'm just wondering how deep it's supposed to go.
