Well, I figure I'll talk about some of the stuff I've been keeping busy with that isn't schoolwork. A little while ago actually I ended up at a Deja Vu Discs location that was going out of business - and there was 50% off of everything in the store. Now before you start thinking I'd found my heaven, well, the closing announcement must have been out

Serenity = The movie that wraps up all the loose ends once the show was cancled, also, awsome.

It's all about the space cowboys. So good...
Congrats on your horror movie finds, those are usually good for homemade special fx and such.

Good heavens! You really know how to spend your money, I'll give you that much. Nice to see you back on LJ, and hopefully you'll continue along! It's been dreadfully slow lately - although that's also my fault, but I'm working on fixing that.

Wow. Clerks, Trailer Park Boys, and Firefly? That's three cult products in a row... Unsurprisingly, I've seen none of them (the first two are obviously discounted due to wretchedly excessive profanity - the third due to an extremely short first run). I've only ever seen Kevin Smith on Degrassi: The Next Generation, in which he never hit my funnybone (apparently he wrote all of his own dialogue). Trailer Park Boys, obviously, I've never seen, and it frightens me a little... And as for Firefly, frankly it could be utter garbage and it would still have a huge fanbase because of Joss Whedon. Auteurs with personality cults such as Whedon (Quentin Tarantino is another excellent example) tend to scare me away from their products. Maybe someday... In the very distant future
