This post applies to the Mostly-Canon and DBFS Alternates only. Given the alternate histories and slightly-alternate personalities of the Sixth Year From Hell and City of Woe alternates, it would be difficult to really judge how accurately I'm playing Zel in those two cases, wouldn't it

Hi! I don't normally respond to this kind of thing, but I just wanted to say I'm delighted to see Zel in dear_multiverse, and I think you're playing him beautifully. He's long been my favorite Slayers character.

You've definitely brought out his single-minded attention to finding a cure in his interactions with my characters (I play sleight_of_soul as well as Courtney here), and he's nicely brooding. I think you could get away with having him be even more moody around the Nexus, but it's also easier to get interaction when your character's polite.

I'm not a Zel/Lina shipper--actually, I'm not much of an anything shipper when it comes to Slayers; I like the interaction of the group as a whole. But I don't have a problem with it, and I like your justification for it.

In short, thanks for playing him in the Nexus! Please stick around!

Thank you~! I plan on sticking around, too, so don't worry ;) He'll be back. (I probably could get away with a more moody Zel, yeah, but as you said, him being outwardly polite is easier.)

I like both Courtney and Third, by the way. Zel likes them too :D

(Also, you've probably already determined that the Mostly-Canon!Zel is the one who's been hanging around in the Nexus. I don't think any of the others will be showing up there, though >.> Maybe DBFS!Zel.)

Yay! I'll look forward to seeing him around. Courtney has more of an ability to empathize with him, but she and Third both think he's interesting. I'm glad you like them. :D
