Did anyone else receive this message about an expedition to the desert ruins? If so, is anyone actually going?

I have my own reservations about this, but perhaps those who have been here longer may know something about more about it.

general inquiry, !video, suspicious, mysterious text message, a journey to the desert?

I'll be going. The trip and sender are suspicious, but...

[Nightmare... yeah, that can't be a coincidence.]

It's better than standing around do nothing, and besides-I doubt it'll be any worse than what this place has already thrown at us.

I have to agree. If anything, we may at least learn who this "Dr." is.

What else has happened in this world?

.... That's a rather open-ended question.

Then tell me everything you know. If you wish for a narrower question, preferably anything largescale or important.

I'm totally in. An opportunity to go gallivanting through unknown territory? Sounds like fun.

[is reminded of way too many people.]

Your spirit is admirable, but you shouldn't be reckless either. We have no idea what this may lead to.

You have no idea what I deal with on a daily basis. This? Is nothing.

If that's the case, then I trust you will be able to handle whatever we may find there?

I'm going. It's worth whatever risk there is to learn information.

I would prefer if we knew more about the situation beforehand, but I would have to agree that there are benefits to this excursion.

Information beforehand helps, but sometimes there's no option other than going in blind.

That doesn't mean we can't have some preparation. Do you have any experience in this?

...it's suspicious,but it's something.

I've been in the desert before and never noticed a cave. But things always change in this world, so maybe something revealed itself.

Change? Could you elaborate on that?

...you haven't been here long to notice then.

Things change often here, it could be something subtle that doesn't impact much, or something on a large scale which effects everything. I don't know why this happens, but I can only assume it's because this a dreamworld and it's transformation are on whims, or something else.

As for subtle changes, I would say something like a cave appearing the desert would be one. It's not something that affects the whole world, though I would consider it as a possible clue to the inner workings of this world. A large scale change would be how once most of Somarium was covered in black ice, or even turning into a tropic jungle.

[listening and taking mental notes. and those are some rather interesting accounts.]

I see. Is there any pattern to these changes or are they really completely random?

Never heard about this doctor before but I'm still interested in joining. Hopefully this won't just be some dead end.

Likewise. [both literally and metaphorically.] I suppose there will only be one way to find out, unfortunately.

Sounds like it. Better to see it with our own eyes instead of hearing whatever others have to say about it. Hard to tell what details they might miss out on.

Have there ever been any other "excursions" like this before?
