Did anyone else receive this message about an expedition to the desert ruins? If so, is anyone actually going?

I have my own reservations about this, but perhaps those who have been here longer may know something about more about it.

I've been in the desert before and never noticed a cave. But things always change in this world, so maybe something revealed itself.

Change? Could you elaborate on that?

Things change often here, it could be something subtle that doesn't impact much, or something on a large scale which effects everything. I don't know why this happens, but I can only assume it's because this a dreamworld and it's transformation are on whims, or something else.

As for subtle changes, I would say something like a cave appearing the desert would be one. It's not something that affects the whole world, though I would consider it as a possible clue to the inner workings of this world. A large scale change would be how once most of Somarium was covered in black ice, or even turning into a tropic jungle.

I see. Is there any pattern to these changes or are they really completely random?

...It's hard to say.

Some changes are related and some are random. Like the black ice incident there were subsequent events that happened afterwards, but there are other changes that are stand alone. They don't relate to the previous one or later,in those cases, those changes are random.

What happened after the black ice?

At the time, I was in the desert doing my own exploring. But I was still informed since the dreamberry was still functional.

There was something about the floating mountain being covered in black ice and it somehow caused the statue in the desert to move, making it see as if the statue was taking hold of it. Then I heard a creature from the desert attacked the village as well. And there was also a strange dream before the attack on village too.

...A couple of months ago. Sometime during the beginning of the year.

It must have taken a while to recover.

...there was damage, but it really didn't take long to repair.
