I had this weird but awesome experience Friday after work. I went to meet a woman I met on the internet. She's originally from Victoria, my hometown. At 3am this morning, I became an uncle for the first time. I have no siblings, but my oldest friend is the father. His brothers are both out east, so he asked me to be uncle #3...and I was completely thrilled and honoured by his request. As an only child, I don't get to be an uncle otherwise.

Tomorrow, I get to meet Eva.
