RP: An Unexpected Guest

Summary: Narcissa comes to talk to Sanguini, and he promises her a performance on his violin. However, someone shows up that Sanguini had never expected to see again.

Sanguini was lounging on his couch. He was waiting for Narcissa to arrive, having owled her the day before asking for her companionship. The matter of his sister had weighed heavily on his mind the last few days and he sought some pleasant conversation. As an incentive (he knew Narcissa would come anyways, but he added it in his note nonetheless), he promised to bring out his violin and play a bit for her. The ancient violin was sitting in its open case, the bow propped up on it. He had performed a small piece alone to make sure it still sounded alright and wasn't going to collapse in his hands, and everything was satisfactory.
His mind had been wandering to a great many places when he heard soft footsteps and a knock on his door. Startled from his thoughts, Sanguini got up from the couch and walked over to the door, opening it without hesitance. At the sight of Narcissa, a relieved smile came to his lips.
"Bon nuit, Narcissa. It's good to see you."
