RP: An Unexpected Guest

Summary: Narcissa comes to talk to Sanguini, and he promises her a performance on his violin. However, someone shows up that Sanguini had never expected to see again.

"I agree wholeheartedly."

He grinned and let her step inside, his earlier worries forgotten. She seemed to have that effect on him. Sanguini closed the door behind her and followed her into the center of the living room.

"As you can see, I got ahold of my violin. It still functions perfectly and I would be happy to play for you."

"I will remind you next time we get there."

He smiled and sat down on the couch, carefully taking the violin out of its case.

"I played a bit before you came, just to make sure it was still working. It seems to be just fine."

Sanguini picked up the violin and closed his eyes as he grabbed the bow as well.

"Ready?" He said with a small smile.

Sanguini's little smile widened a bit.

"You're right."

When she patted his hand and teased him a bit, he chuckled.

"No. I don't want to leave. I would rather speak with you than be alone with my thoughts. How is the shop going?"

Sanguini smiled, glad to hear that his friend's business was going well.

"That's wonderful. I'm afraid I don't really know much about familiars. I never really had one. What are the more popular creatures that you sell?"

He was glad to be off the subject of his sister. It still weighed heavily on his mind, but talking with Narcissa certainly helped.
