Rabastan's girls were very upset by all the work the historical restoration crew had been doing in preparation for the removal and relocation of the rear addition of the church tomorrow. Actually Rabastan was almost as tense as Bronwyn and Mahgda. If the project went as planned, his new residence would be under construction by this time next week, but if any other structural problems were discovered, who knew how long it might be ( ... )

Rodolphus was admittedly surprised when a wolf leapt over the bench by the river and landed gracefully. When it turned into his brother, however, a grin made his face light up. He didn't get to see enough of Rabastan, despite how close they were.

"Yes, Brother. I am. I thought that if I was going to have a gallery, I would need some pieces to fill it up."

He chuckled softly.

"It is good to see you."

Rodolphus placed his brush on his palette and leaned it against the empty part of his easel, going to the river to try and wash some of the paint from his hands.

"I haven't changed in such a long time. It is a pleasant sight to see you in your other form."

"So you have decided that including a gallery will all right then?" Rabastan gave his brother a huge smile. "I am very pleased, Rodol... Rod. You are a marvelous painter. I'll start searching for someone to manage the gallery as soon as we have a working set of plans for the building ( ... )

Rodolphus nodded.

"Yes, I think that would be best. I did wander back over to that building a little while ago and found that it was indeed to my tastes."

Once the majority of the paint was off of his hands, he shook the water from them and stood up straight, absently wiping them dry on his trousers. Most of his pants were rather paint-spattered as it was.

"Yes, I remember Mahgda." He smiled at the kneazle.

Rodolphus' smile widened at his brother's idea.

"I would love to. The paint on the leaves I've done has to dry before I do anything else anyways."

He hadn't changed in a long time, so the transformation was perhaps a bit slower than he liked, but moments later, he was in his feline form. He took a few experimental steps forward, getting used to being on all fours again, and had a very cat-like smile when he looked at Rabastan.
