There's no hurry with the book, of course. I'd just had a note from our last discussion and thought I'd make sure that things were still going smoothly.
My Sundays are occupied each week, so a weekday afternoon would definitely be best. My upcoming week is quite full but perhaps we could arrange something near the end of next week. Thursday, the seventeenth, or Friday, the eighteenth, would be fine around two in the afternoon. If next week isn't suitable, I could schedule tea the same days the following week.
I've of course been busy--can you ever imagine me not? I'd have to take on a second job. But yes, I'd love to share a meal. Would you like to come over for dinner this weekend, perhaps Saturday evening, just the two of us? We can catch up, and I'm sure I can find something to tease you about as well.
No, I can't imagine you ever taking a break, but it seemed only polite to ask. I imagine that you'll stop working far too much around the same time as I do. Dinner this weekend would be lovely. Shall we say seven on Saturday? I'll come by after work, and we can catch up. As for teasing, knowing you, it won't take you too terribly long to find something appropriate.
I am well and I hope you are also. This is my last week of exams with only one of the 'big' ones left on Wednesday. I'm sure you remember how much I loathe tests and that certainly hasn't changed over the years. No worries on the lapse, I'm just as guilty of not owling you with school keeping me busy.
I'm a 'free witch' as of Friday evening so Saturday lunch would be brilliant, if you are free - just let me know.
Saturday lunch would be brilliant. Say noon at my place? I live in the house next door to Bookworm, 33 Alpha Lane, so I'll just meet you there if that time is good.
I'm so glad you owled me. Why, of course, I'm at your disposal. If there's anything going on that requires the assistance of Gilderoy Lockhart, I am more than happy to provide you with whatever support you require - or at least meet with you to discuss such things.
Sundays are always busy for me, but perhaps the following Monday would be nice? Mondays are usually less busy at the shop, and with Daphne and Knobby there, I'm sure they can manage for a few hours without my leadership.
Thank you for your reply. Shall we say Monday, May 21, at 1 in the afternoon? Would you prefer to meet at your shop or my office? I don't mind dropping by your shop if that's easier for you.
