Dean was nervous. He hadn't slept well last night and now he was bleary eyed as he stood outside the Bookworm at six a.m., readying himself to knock on the door in order to meet Hermione. She'd allowed him to paint her and it was something Dean was grateful for the opportunity to do. He wondered if Roger was going to come along and he thought that he'd feel better if he did so he could help Hermione to just focus on being herself and not think about posing.
He thought for a moment as he waited for Hermione. It wasn't that Dean didn't think he could do this but he wanted to make sure he did Hermione justice because he'd thought about doing this for a long time.
"Maybe you shouldn't be trying so soon after becoming unblocked." Dean chuckled but he knew the time was right.
He shook his head before he checked if he had everything. He had his easel, his tools, his pencils, his paints all shrunken down. He'd brought breakfast too. Scones and a couple of containers of coffee along with condiments. He didn't think he could create on an empty stomach and he knew it would be hell for Hermione to pose if she didn't eat either.
Dean breathed deeply before he let out a slightly steamy breath. He wished it were warmer but charms would help there but he knew the lighting would be wrong if they didn't start soon. "No better time than the present," he muttered as he stepped forward and knocked on the door.
