Sanguini saw a veritable horde of emotion go through Narcissa's expression and wondered if she was thinking about her own childhood. He knew from various sources that she had two sisters, but he wasn't even aware of their names or ages. He wondered what her home life was like, growing up in the shadow of the legendary name of Black.

"I worry about your wellbeing, Narcissa, even though I am aware that mortals have more of a tendency to be hurt than my kind. Just because something can happen doesn't change my mind."

He listened to her voice trail off and thought for a moment whether or not he should risk it. He trusted in her opinion that reading his thoughts was only trying when done with Apparation. His fangs dug slightly into his lip.

"If you believe it will not hurt you, you may look into my mind."
