Date: 5 February 2005
Characters: Cedric Diggory, Rabastan Lestrange
Location: museum
Status: Private
Summary: Cedric sends the application and proposal.
Completion: Incomplete
Cedric had been inspired and the paperwork was done. Lestrange already had the database, so Cedric included just the application,
the proposal, the books, a copy of estimated (really guestimated) costs, and his preliminary display proposals.
His cover letter read:
Dear Mr. Lestrange,
Enclosed you'll find the grant application and associated materials. Once again, I thank you for coming to meet with me, and for your support and advice. It was much appreciated. When you've made a decision, please contact me. I do have a previous engagement Wednesday, and a conference on Friday, but otherwise I can meet on any evening convenient for you.
Sincerely,
Cedric G.C. Diggory
He knew that Lestrange had told him to call him Rabastan, but this was a formal application not just a friendly note. He'd also taken the trouble to fashion makeshift letterhead with the museum's name and address. He'd have to Duplicate copies of the parchment for formal letters.
