As usual, Cedric was running a bit late to pick up Katie, so he arrived at 6:10 instead of 6 sharp. He knocked on the door and waited, hands in pockets. He'd spent most of his morning finishing packing and then had taken a shower, but was still feeling a bit as if he'd been run hard and put away wet. At least he was hungry.
