Seamus was surprised by the woman's question. "No one has ever offered to pay with elf clothing...but I'm sure it'll be fine. There's at least one place in town that we can barter with and use elf clothing as payment." He smiled, taking in the woman's appearance.

She seemed nervous...shaking hands, wavering smile...

"You okay, miss? Can I get you anything? A drink? Food?"

He watched her, not entirely sure if she was okay or not.

Millicent bit her lip at his question, remembering Gilderoy's words but deciding to ignore them. He was her boss not her father, and she just wanted a glass of wine. No harm in that.

'A drink wouldn't go amiss,' she said with a smile, resting her hands in her lap keep them from shaking. 'A whiskey.' She smiled again, a bit confused. She had intended to ask for wine. Really she had.

Seamus nodded, turning away from the bar and pulling a bottle of whiskey off the wall, pouring the liquid into a whiskey glass.

He brought the glass back to the woman and placed it in front of her.

"Anything else? Something to nibble on, perhaps?"

Millicent took the glass and swirled the liquid in the glass before taking a sip, the taste of the drink calming her almost instantly.

For a moment, she pondered Seamus question. She hadn't eaten since dinner the evening before, saving some of the clothes she got as payment from Gilderoy rather than spending it on food for herself. Still if she got something to nibble on the elf wouldn't buy her as much and possibly she needed something for Ella later.

She shook her head. 'No I'm fine, thank you,' she said with a smile, taking another sip of her drink. Her hands were already shaking less. She looked up at the man in front of her, a bit nervous from the way he was looking at her. He hadn't noticed her hands shaking, had he?

Romilda waved to Millicent as she saw her enter the pub. She was in the middle of taking an elderly couple's order when she felt something tugging at her skirt.

Looking down, she saw Ella and smiled. "Where's Liam?" she demanded.

Romilda grinned. "Well hello to you, Miss Ella. Liam's out the back brushing the bunnies right now. Why don't you go out there and say hello."

Ella was gone without saying goodbye, but Romilda couldn't help but smile.

Ella grinned when she heard Liam was out back and she ran outside as fast as she could.

'I wanna brush bunnies too!' she called out as if it was greeting, grinning as she ran up and sat down next to him, reaching out for one of the bunnies. 'Have you learnt any new magic?' she then asked with a grin, wondering if she could get a hold of Mummy's wand again.

Liam was brushing Milkweed when he saw Ella. Looking up, he grinned.

"You can brush Puff," he said, hoping she wouldn't notice that he had already brushed him. He handed over Puff.

He sounded glum when Ella asked about new magic. "No," he replied glumly. "Mummy and Daddy Mac said that I can't do magic without them around."

He saw the look on her face fall, but he wanted to impress his friend.

His eyes lit up as he suddenly realised something "But we can do better. We can play with Peeves!"

He leapt up, eagerly hugging Milkweed. "Peevesie! Peevesie!" he cried out.

Peeves had been messing with some of the condiments in the kitchen when he heard a shrill young voice call out his name. He cackled, zipping out of the room and soaring to where he had heard the voice. He hovered in the doorway, confined to the boundaries of the building.

He saw the Ickle Pickle playing with Milky and Poof and another...ickle kid thingy.

He clapped his hands together and cackled gleefully.

"Never fear! Peevesie dear is here!"

He glanced between the Ickle Pickle and the new ickle kid thingy. "The Ickle Pickle has a new friend?"

Alicia was in the kitchen, being purposefully noisy as she washed up the plates and glasses. Putting them onto the drying rack, she threw the cloth back into the sink and dried her hands on a teatowel, still rather annoyed.

She knew she shouldn't have called Millicent trash - Well, not until finding out exactly why she was flirting with Seamus - but with her lack of sleep, she was even more snappy than usual. It really wasn't fun.

Yawning and hopping up onto the bit of the counter where the dirty dishes were usually stacked until they were washed, she tried to calm herself down. She was sure that Millicent and probably Romilda were slagging her off back in the bar but she couldn't bring herself to care. Just because Millicent was a fat cow and Romilda couldn't get herself a bloke if she tried.

"Fucking bitches." she muttered, yawning again.

Seamus stood in the doorway of the kitchen watching Alicia as she muttered and cursed under her breath. He walked into the kitchen, surprised she hadn't noticed him yet.

Walking closer to her, he reached out and touched her knee lightly with his finger.

"Hey."

Alicia startled as she felt Seamus touch her knee, opening her eyes quickly. She'd been so caught up in her own little fantasy of not having to work and serve slutty bitches like Millicent that she'd been completely out of it.

"Hey," she said softly, smiling slightly. "I know I acted out of order- I really do. I just.. I shouldn't have stormed off- She spoke to me as if I was some kind of house elf."

"I know...but you didn't help that much at all with that first little comment of yours." He lifted his hand and brushed her hair out of her face.

"You've got to control what you say when you're working, though. If that gets back to Rosmerta at all..." He trailed off, not really certain what would happen if it did get back to Rosmerta at all.

"There's always going to be some annoying customer. You know Florian? That lush who comes in most nights? He nearly looked like he was ready to attack me one night when I told him it was time to close up. Kind of scary, actually. I was talking to--"

He stopped, hearing loud squeals coming from the back storeroom. He glanced out into the bar area, realizing Romilda had gone to serve a large party and came back into the kitchen.

"I need to go back to the bar. Can you go...check on whatever that just was?"
