Millicent was rather relieved that Gilderoy was so busy with the shoppe that he spent so little time at the Five Alarm. After the sewing lessons yesterday, thing were - if possible - even more awkward between them than before.
Today, however, she didn't have to go and see him. Today she was bringing Ella to the Five Alarm to see Liam and the bunnies, and maybe to talk to Romilda. She'd come to the conclusion that she quite liked the other woman. It was almost as if she was having a friend, although she'd never had one so she couldn't be sure what friendship was like.
The place wasn't too crowded when she came in, and Millicent walked up to the bar and sat down, waiving to Romilda who was serving one of the tables and letting go of Ella who immediately ran up to her and asked for Liam and the bunnies.
Looking at the man on the other side of the counter, Millicent bit her lip. Gilderoy had said no more alcohol, but surely one or two glasses of wine wouldn't be too bad? It would stop the most immediate shaking of her hands and it wasn't as if she would get drunk. She never did after all. She wondered if they took elf clothing as payment here too.
Meeting the eyes of the man on the other side of the bar, she gave him a nervous smile.
'This may seem like a stupid question,' she started, her voice low and seductive as her nerves were acting up. 'But do you take elf clothes as payment?'
