Written for jamjar - I really wanted to combine the two requests, but I came up dry on the 'duchess business' end of things. Sequel to Business Trip, to a certain extent. ( Collector's Item )
Oh, yes. VERY smart move there, m'dear... He probably got stuck trying to clean up the moral fabric of the place a bit. But the place is such a mess I rather doubt he got anything effective done.
Is Maurice allowed back into Ankh-Morpork?jamjarMarch 21 2004, 21:29:49 UTC
Really strong Maurice-voice in this. And now I7m all curious over the details of their arrangement, and Crowley's reaction if he foudn out. ("You're making arrangements behind my back?" "Crowley, it doesn't matter. My Arrangement with Maurice has no affect on ours." "Yes, it does! How can you be paying to m arrangement, when you're running around with him?")
You know, I read this and then it occured to me that the most likely crossover connection would be the Librarian and Aziraphale (what's that line about a good book shop being just a literate black hole or something?).
and then I was distracted by imagining them having tea and banana cake and debateing filing methods, and then getting into a brawl at a book auction.
Of course he is. He's a CAT.minkhollowMarch 22 2004, 14:02:20 UTC
Really strong Maurice-voice in this. You think so? Oh, good. 'S been a while since I read the book. As for the arrangement, it's basically news about Ankh-Morpork in exchange for food or possibly shelter, if things're that nasty. Aziraphale and the Librarian... oh dear God. That would be BRILLIANT. (Now who can we make write it...)
