I think it's perfect. And it's really disappointing that inclusion wasn't really a consideration.

This is in the same thoughtless vein as ordering company/department shirts or hoodies or whatever that don't actually come in sizes that fit everyone (or that have only one option for larger women, namely "giant shapeless men's shirt that goes down to your knees".)

Also, and this is neither here nor there, but Club Monaco is not cheap. That said 30% off a $80.00 blouse is still really not that great of a deal when your money can go so much further at an outlet or somewhere else.

Yeah, a lot of stores make me cringe size wise. Really annoying.

Did you ever watch that Elle Magazine reality show? (I don't think they had it in Canada) anyway, one of the contestants (who were trying to win an editorial assistant gig there) was a girl of real size. And the producers were like, "for this contest put together a look for yourself from the fashion closet" Which of course are all like sample size nothings. Really lame of them. Anyway, reminds me of that. Extremely insensitive and not thoughtful at all.

That is a fail on the part of [your university] and a win on the part of you.

I particularly enjoy this line, as I imagine it being voiced in a particularly acerbic tone:
"students who cannot shop at Club Monaco--for reasons of size, and also capital-- have the need and would appreciate the opportunity to build a business wardrobe at a 30% off discount while enjoying some free champagne."
(Emphasis, obviously, mine.)
