Apologies for being absent.
I have been very busy with work and family and I have not worked on any projects.
There is an interesting new technique called cro-tat that I am trying to figure out. It uses a tiny crochet needle with a handle, and you use tatting and crochet stitches. The needle I have needs a little work on the hook because it doesn't hold the thread well ( Read more... ) -

I did a little work on a punched card. I worked on it for about 3 hours and it seems like I should have gotten more done.

Flower Challenge Day 2 -Fail
I tried again to use the tatting for this challenge. I can tat edgings and motifs but I do seem to be quite inept when it comes to tatting flowers or freestyle. The last few patterns I have tried have not worked so well for me either, that however, is because I can not concentrate and I keep getting lost and miscounting stitches ( Read more... ) -

I decided origami would be a fine start to this challenge. I saw a YouTube video for a paper lily. I've tried to do that one from book instructions and failed so I decided to try with the video instructions.
