Apologies for being absent.
I have been very busy with work and family and I have not worked on any projects.
There is an interesting new technique called cro-tat that I am trying to figure out. It uses a tiny crochet needle with a handle, and you use tatting and crochet stitches. The needle I have needs a little work on the hook because it doesn't hold the thread well enough and I lose stitches. The stitches are loose because you have to be able to slide them off over the needle and I have not found a way to do that with taut stitches. When I find some online tuts I'll post'em.
The big news is my new sewing machine *insert big cheesy grin* it is a Bernina Activa 210. It sews beautifully, I cut-off a pair of my husband's jeans for him and hemmed them back up and it was like sewing buttah :p
I have got to find the time to work on some projects!! ESPECIALLY, because I have A-Kon coming up and I would like to put together a marginal costume at the very least!!!!!!11!!11!!1!
